Kiss Bat Dung and Come Out Smiling

Guano...
It’s easy to describe it
Its bat dung
It smells like urine
But with a certain earthy twist

If you want to enter a cave
Be ready to see bats
If you disturb them
And they fly above you
Be ready for tiny droplets to fall on your head
They came from ‘you know what’
Wear a helmet if you don’t want
to get your hair entangled

If you see a hole
You may get excited
There might be a huge chamber at the other end
Get ready to crawl
Through that tiny hole

But if it’s a bat nest
You might disturb them
And they will try to get out
Through that tiny hole of yours
Then be ready to kiss the ground
(Need I say bat dung?)

But if the cave was good
And the adventure superb
Then you can come out smiling
And maybe learn to love what you just kissed
